Operation Cross Country XII (United States of America)


The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) worked with state & local partners in a group nicknamed "Operation Cross County XII" to identify & locate adolescents victims & adult victims of human trafficking. "Operation Cross County XII" operated in a two-week period & managed 391 operations. The group located 84 minors victims of child sex trafficking and child sexual exploitation, located 37 ACTIVELY missing children, located 141 adult human trafficking, arrested 85 suspects with child sexual exploitation and human trafficking offenses. It is very possible those suspects arrested will be receiving additional charges. The average age of the victims located during this nationwide operation were

15.5-years-old and the youngest

age was 11-years-old.

The "Operation Cross County XII" consists of the Federal Bureau Of Investigations (FBI) Special Agents, National Center for Missing And Exploited Children (NCMEC), Victims Specialists, Child Adolescent Forensic Interviewers, State, Local & Federal Partners.
