At the time of his ESCAPE, Lester Eubanks was a Life Sentence for the November 1965 murder & attempted rape of 14-year-old, Ellen Deener. Lester Eubanks originally Sentence was with the Death Penalty. In 1972, Lester Eubanks Sentence was commuted to Life in Prison Without Parole.
