Shopping Cart Killer (Fairfax County, VA)

   In late November, two victims were found, 54-year-old Allene Elizabeth "Beth" Redmon and 39-year-old Tonita L. Smith in a vacate lot in Harrisonburg. Allene E. Redmon was from Harrisonburg and Tonita L. Smith was from Charlottesville.

     In mid-December two victims were found near a shopping cart in a wooded area near the Moon Inn. 29-year old Cheyenne Brown of Washington, DC and 48-year-old Stephanie Harrison of Redding, California. Cheyenne was identified by family from her noticeable tattoo. 

     35-year-old Anthony Robinson is in custody and has been categorized as a suspected serial killer, he is also suspected as the Shopping Cart Killer. It is alleged that the Shopping Cart Killer used a shopping cart to transport his victims one place to another, after killing them. The is surveillance and phone record linking Anthony to the November victims, Allene and Tonita. It is alleged that Anthony used a dating site to communicate with his victims, then enticed them to the Moon Inn, located in Alexandria, Virginia. Both incidents are believed to have happened in two separate occasions. Anthony was also in the same area as Cheyenne Brown at the same time. Anthony had communication with Cheyenne via the dating app before she disappeared.

     Anthony Eugene Robinson is being held in Rockingham County Adult Detention Center in Harrisonburg,  Virginia. He has been charged with two-courts of 1st-degree murder and two felony counts of concealing, transporting or altering a dead body.

     Recently, there has been a tip that may lead to a fifth victim. There is digital evidence linking him to the fifth victim and Anthony being in the same area when the victim disappeared.

     Police are urging anyone with information about Anthony Eugene Robinson to contact authorities immediately. The police believe any information can be significant information to them.
